Eleven Years!!!

We had an awesome time on our Anniversary earlier this month! We were blessed to have a little getaway and stayed in a little cottage on Anna Maria Island. The boys got to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa and Miss Kyleigh got to come along to the beach. It was nice to have time with Kyleigh and to enjoy spending time together and taking a few breaths. Life has been so fast paced this past year and we really needed to slow down. The island is so laid back and relaxing so it was the perfect weekend.



The cottage was on vrbo.com and the owner was great! They had bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, beach gear and even a ping pong table there and she was like just take the kayak out or whatever. Ahh~the island life. The site has some really quaint and cozy
little vacation homes and we have had great experiences with the owners. It was like a home away from home and had everything we needed and more. The best thing was just walking on the beach and taking in the sunset while we spent time with each other and we got to have a little 1:1 with Kyleigh. She really came to life around the water and kicked her cute little chubby legs around in the water. People were coming up to us on the beach to see her and we met some really nice people out on the beach including a realtor who gave us her info. I asked for it actually. The lady we rented from is also a realtor and it was great to talk with her and her husband about the areas to be developed especially around Pine Drive. I really wanted to get to know the area a little better and to talk to some of the locals. I guess I truly am a curious traveler as i try to find out everything I can about an area and ask tons of questions. My Dad called me question mark growing up. Boy, I know I wore him out! Anyway, we had such an awesome time and it was a fabulous way to end the summer.
